He was predeceased by: his parents, James McGovern and Linda McGovern (Romano). He is survived by: his spouse Kim McGovern (Conciatori); his children, Karen, Raymond Gertner of Poughquag, Michael and Jessica McGovern of Hopewell Junction; his grandchildren, Mikaela Gertner and Lily McGovern; and his siblings, Denise, David Burke, Jeff, Jackie McGovern and Conciatori. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
