She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Zazzera; her parents, Dennis Murphy and Elizabeth Murphy; her siblings, Peggy Church and Dennis; and her son-in-law Mike Scimeme.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marianne Zazzera, Valerie Krause, Susan Strahm and Catherine Zazzera; her siblings, Patricia Paholek and John Murphy; her grandchildren, Kevin Krause, Carolyn McErlean (Nick), Katie Pompo (Nick), Michael O'Rourke (Alexa Lotito), Danielle Petro, Lacey, Jamie Strahm, Christine Zazzera (Nick Hirschstein) and Lia Zazzera; her great grandchildren, Victoria, Nicky, Jordan, Dylan, Michael, Linnea and Joseph; and her sons-in-law, George Strahm, Mike O'Rourke and Jim Krause.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. (28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10312). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Child Church (4747 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10312).
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that donations in Carol's memory be made to The Tunnel to Towers Organization.
