He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Abato and AnneMarie Abato (Kinnally). He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Hoppe (Robert) and Victoria Liebson (Joseph); his grandchildren, Angelina and Robert "RJ"; his sister Ellen (Robert Smith); and his daughters, Laura, Jessica, Amanda and Stephanie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cargain Funeral Homes Inc. - Carmel (10 Fowler Ave, Carmel Hamlet, NY 10512). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Carmel Church (1 Doherty Dr, Carmel Hamlet, NY 10512). A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Raymond Hill Cemetery (165 NY-52, Carmel Hamlet, NY 10512).
