It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aida Gonçalez of Carmel, New York, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Aida Gonçalez to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amandio Augusto and Elisa; her brothers, Manuel Pires and Jose Pires; and her granddaughter Kayla Goncalez.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Cristina and Isaias Goncalez (Soraia Pereira Goncalez); her grandchildren, Robert, Andrew, Jesse Bleakley and Patrick Goncalez (Samantha); and her great grandchild Wyatt Goncalez.
Due to current COVID restrictions, a private Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction followed by burial at Milltown Rural Cemetery in Brewster.
Donations may be made in Aida's memory to Alzheimer's Association.
