She was predeceased by: her daughter Caroline Marie Alps; her parents, William J. Butler and Isabelle V. Butler; her sisters, Lillian V. Guy and Isabel M. Butler; and her niece Patricia Urban.

She is survived by: her children, Joellen Marie Silvis and Thomas Joseph Alps; her daughter-in-law Jillian Alps; her granddaughters, Caroline Piera, Emily Elizabeth and Isabella Agnes; her brother William J. Butler; her sister-in-law Patricia Butler (Perry R. Silvis); and also Jillian Alps. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
