It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ritva M. Gabrielsson of Cape Vincent, New York, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Granlund and Kerttu M. Granlund (Rami); her aunt Martha (Granlund); her grandmother Mai; and her cousin Ulla Blomster (Tallgren).
She is survived by: her former spouse Sven E. Gabrielsson; her spouse Kaj Avall; her children, Carl V. Gabrielsson and Pamela H. (Ronald J. Youngs) of Cape Vincent; her grandchildren, Eric Youngs (Katie), Clayton, Kaitlyn Krause (Michael) of Fountain Hills, AZ and Aaron Youngs; her great grandchildren, Madelyn, Emma, Lauren Youngs and Sophia Maeve Krause; and her sister Marita Soderberg (Granlund).
