Though Marlene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marlene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her husband Darrell E Burton Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Randy Burton (Marie) and Sherry Jensen (Debra Burton Higgins); her brother Ronnie Martin (Kathy); her grandchildren, Jeremy Burton (Danielle), Laurie Burton, Travis Burton (Missi) and Larry Jensen Jr. (Christina); and her sister-in-law Jeanette Chiore. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Butler Badman Funeral Home (4504 W Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, NY 13215). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
She has requested no flowers please. In lieu of, we ask that you make a donation to the Watertown SPCA or your charity of choice.
