He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Smith and Helen Smith (Coleman); and his siblings, John Smith (Drew), Joanne Wise (Smith) and Michael Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Carrie Smith (Gault); his sons, Eric Smith (Stephanie), Tyler and Jordan Smith; his granddaughter Oliva Smith; and his brother Gregory Smith (Joan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
