He was predeceased by: his parents, William Christy and Katherine Christy (Sullivan); his wife Marie Demers; his son Jim Christy; his daughter-in-law Michele Christy; and his siblings, Francis, Frederick, Phillip, Thelma, Lucille, Lawrence, Roland, Maurice and Theresa.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Christy (Jorja), Robert Christy (Kathy), Richard Christy, Mary Beth Burnham (Charles) and Kathleen Matukas (Scott). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
