He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Dafoe and Ada Dafoe (Dumas); and his siblings, Lorena Lewis, Esterella Ashley, Calvin, Myron, Wesley Dafoe Jr. and Lola Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Dafoe; his children, Shawn Furgison, Allen Dafoe (Marie Petrucci) and Nicole Lottie; and his brother Richard Dafoe (Tina). He is also survived by two grandchildren, a great grandson.
