He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald A. "Charlie" Ames and Nancyanne E. McCluskey; his granddaughter Delainey Ames; and his parents-in-law, Dorothy and Harvey Terrillion.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Terrillion; his sons, Brian Ames and Kyle Ames (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Owen, Rorie, Hunter and Hayden; his siblings, Tom Ames, Theresa Ames (Ed Baxter), Nancy Gurney, Michael Ames and Cathy Miller; and his parents-in-law, Jeanne Overend and Jeff Terrillion (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
