He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert George and Hazel George (Alguire); his children, Steven George and Karen George; and his grandchild Carin Alice Blain.
He is survived by: his wife Jennie L. Lazore; his grandchildren, John Sauve of Massena, Sally, Judy George of Winthrop, Scott George of Hermon and Bryan; and his great grandchildren, Steven Clark, Chelsea Blain, Kevin and Brandon George.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hammill Funeral Home (653 NY-11C, Winthrop, NY 13697). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
