He was predeceased by: his father John Hall; and his brothers, Kenneth and Daniel Hall. He is survived by: his wife Dotty (Dotty); his children, John Smillie Hall (Alice) and Kristen Hall Lamb (Gunner); and his grandchildren, James Hall (Sam Carlson), Margaret Hall (Maggie), William Lamb (Will) and Carter Lamb.
