It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Palmer (Canton, New York), born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on August 11, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughter Joann; her husband George Frear; her daughters, Sara Frear of Houston and Marian Frear of Albuquerque; her grandson Armand Van Dyke of Albuquerque; and her sister Evelyn Shobin of Deerfield Beach. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in Joann's honor to St. Michael's Church or to one of the many national organizations combating Parkinson's.
