She was predeceased by: her parents, Elnora Rood (Caswell) and Harold Rood; her husband Calvin "Bower" Rose Jr.; her sister Judy Whitman; and her pet Hoss.
She is survived by: her close friend Frank Carter of Canton; her sons, Calvin Rose (Colleen) of Canton, NY, James Rose (Pam) of Canton, NY and Bryan Rose (Sheri) of Adams Center, NY; her grandchildren, Amber Sheppard (Andy), Ashley Lapointe (Kyle), Chantel Beebie (Chris), Joshua Rose (Kathryn), Jorie Murdock (Dean), Craig Coffey (Delaney) and Brad Matthews; and her sister Joyce Ordway of Canton, NY. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
