She was predeceased by: her parents, Durwood Stanton and Agnes Stanton (Warner); her daughter Sherri Lynn Rood; and her son-in-law Joseph DeFelippo. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Rood; her daughters, Nancy DeFelippo and Wendy Whinnery (William); her granddaughter Erica Margaret Smith (Jordon); her siblings, Richard Stanton (Maria) and Barbara Peters; and her granddaughter Jaime.
