He was predeceased by: his father Arthur J. Farnsworth, Sr.; his wife Cindy Farnsworth; his brother Arthur "Sonny" Farnsworth; and his granddaughter Karissa Mae Barber. He is survived by: his children, Penny Newton (Bruce), James "Jim" Farnsworth (Starlight) and Chris Farnsworth (Andrea). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
