It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Galen K. Pletcher (Canton, New York), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Elmer and Lila Stevenson Pletcher; his former spouse Cecilie Ann Sewejkis; his children, David M. Pletcher (Alexandra Turnbull) and Jessica Pletcher; his wife Helen Main McLean Pletcher; and his sister Pat Conway (Alan) of Marble. He was also cherished by her three children and six grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to The Society of the United Helpers or to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
