We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Eli Sochia in Canton, New York, born in Saint Regis Falls, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edson Sochia and Hattie Sochia (Caskinette); his sons, Robert and Darcy Sochia; his grandchildren, Jordan and Ian; and his siblings, Blanche, Elroy, Howard, Laura, Edith, James, Katherine, Grace, Wilfred, Elsie, Gilbert and Anna.
He is survived by: his former spouse Shirley Stacy; his wife Barbara M. Berdow; his children, Gilbert Sochia of Hopkinton, Wayne (Piper Sochia), Sheila (David Gardner), Kevin Sochia (Cindy) and Loren (Maria Sochia); his stepchildren, Rosemary, Webster Brown of Moira, Patricia, Theodore Meyers of Juneau, AK, Sue, Roderick Yaddow of Dickinson Center, Michael Johnson of St. Regis Falls, Cynthia and Steven Follett of Massena; and his siblings, Adele Sochia, Timothy Sochia, Mary Witherell and Eldora Tharrett. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, as well as many great grandchildren, and even some great great grandchildren.
