He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H., Sr. and Grace E. Alexander (Wainright); and his sisters, Beth Campbell of Canton and Emily Gaffney of Sequoit, NY.. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Elizabeth Norton of Canton; his children, Christine Whitman (Mike) of Colton, Rebekah "Becky" and Charles "Chuck" Alexander (Angelique) of Timonium, MD; his nieces, Linda VanOrder of Moyock, NC and Jacqueline Crabtree (Clint) of Oak Island, NC; and his grandchildren, Michael Whitman, Michelle Whitman, John Alexander and Margaret Alexander. He is also survived by two daughters, a son and two nieces.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church of Canton, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Canton Post 1231, the Potsdam AMVETS POST 282 or the Fairview Cemetery, Canton.
