It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlton Lee Doane of Canton, New York, born in Bakersfield, Vermont, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tennyson Doane and Floy Doane (Camp); and his siblings, Holden, Harrison Doane and Katherine Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ellen Thompson Doane; his children, Jonathan Doane (Marie), Carlene Doane (Abdelkrim Moumen) and Nathaniel Doane; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Alexander Doane, Zakaria, Maysa, Salma and Amal Moumen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
