He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Hance and Rose Hance (Davis); his wife Marie; his grandson Zachary Eaton; and his siblings, Merton Hance, Silas, James Hance, Emily Bercume, Judy Chenail, Agnes Savage, Elsie Tessier, Pauline McMartin and Maribelle Locke.
He is survived by: his children, James Hance (Leann), Leona Hance, Benjamin Hance (Denyell), Richard Hance (Buffy) and Donna Hance; his grandchildren, Matthew Hance (Laura), Robert, David Hance, Tommy, Michelle Demeter, Nicholas French, Dameika Cornwell, Carole Hance, Michael, Damian Hance, Tyler and Amber Eaton; and his sisters, Barbara Planty and Roselda LaDeuc. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
