She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson A. Maybee and Margaret C. Maybee (Buffham); her siblings, John (Jack) and Helen C. Randi (Joseph); her son Stephen M. Gaines; her stepgranddaughter Jennifer E. Dorsey; and her great grandchild Ryan S. Gaines.
She is survived by: her children, Victor A. Gaines (Pauline) of Orlando, FL, Sharon A. Gaines of Canton, NY, Martin L. Gaines (Claire) of Norwood, NY, Peggy Burt (Lawrence) of Campobello, SC and Alan D. Gaines (Alice) of Ruffin, NC; and her grandchildren, Tamara L. Lynch (Javier Centeno) of Lehigh Acres, FL, Sean P. Gaines (Jennifer) of Cape Coral, FL, Christopher A. Gaines (Joleen) of Clayton, NC, Kevin M. Gaines (Maria Wood) of Massena, NY, Kristin E Correia (Jeffery) of Campobello, SC, Lawrence B Burt, III (Jessica) of Boiling Springs, SC, Theresa M Cusimano (Thomas) of Ruffin, NC and Class Alan D. Gaines of Fort Carson, CO. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A public service will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family due to Covid restrictions.
