She is survived by: her former husband Vernon Smithers; her husband Allen Sargent; her children, Vernon Smithers (Chris Stevenson), Steven Smithers (Patty) of Ogdensburg, Sandra Carter (Fred) of Ogdensburg, Susan Jolly (Dan) of Lisbon and Peggy Sue Aidun (Rashid) of Potsdam; and her son-in-law George Beaulieu. She is also survived by Eighteen grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
