With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian C. Congdon (Canisteo, New York), born in Hornell, New York, who passed away on June 24, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Conkey and Ruth Conkey (Norton); her husband John J. Congdon; and her siblings, Christine Gensler, Phillis Donahue, Jeanne Sackett and Michael Conkey.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Congdon (Amy) of Canisteo, Patricia Zanghi (John) of Hornell and Brian Congdon (Marie) of Monument, CO.; her grandchildren, Emily, Erin, Kristin, Kevin, Ty, Cody and Norah; and her sisters, Kathleen Sexton, Lois Jimerson and Helen Remchuk (Dennis). She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
