He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon L. Kittell and Nellie Gay Kittell; his children, Diane Davis and Robert J; and his siblings, Ruth Ireland, Phyllis Light, Ronald and Harold Kittell.

He is survived by: his wife Luella Kittell of Hartsville; and his daughters, Susan Martin (Richard) of Warners, Linda D'Onofrio (Kenneth) of Baldwinsville, Kathy Rice and Luella. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
