She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathew C. Pierce and Marie Pierce (McDaniel); her husband Lyle "Pete" Thompson; her son Dean Thompson; her grandson Scott James Thompson; and her siblings, Gerald, Duane "Coz", Richard Pierce, Marlene Scott, Marcelene Stewart, Lavonne Campbell and Connie Frook.

She is survived by: her sons, Gary "Gus" (Cindy Thompson), Dana (Andrea Thompson), Karl (Kelly Thompson), Mark (Tonia Thompson) and Todd (Colleen Thompson); her grandchildren, Matt Thompson (Terri), Jarred Thompson, Carlee Linderman (Nate), Brandy Thompson, Jesse Thompson (Tyler Staloch), Wade Thompson, Jace Thompson, Mallory Thompson, Jackie Thompson, Zack Thompson (Erica), Trevor Thompson, Alisha Mullen (Brad), Gunnar Thompson and Grant Thompson; her great grandchildren, Emalynn, Emette, Stella, Maddox, Hayden, Jeter, Mack and Blair; and her siblings, Clem Pierce, Deanne Edell of Canisteo and Denise Schaumberg (Michael) of Canisteo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
