He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Barnard and Lulu Converse Barnard; and his brothers, Shearl and Arthur Barnard. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Woodworth Barnard; his daughter Shawn Barnard of Canisteo; and his sisters, Ann Baxter of Dundee, Nancy Bacon of Cameron and Paula Coots of Avon. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that those wishing, make a contribution to the Canisteo Fire Department or Ambulance Corp. in Shannon's memory.
