She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Cook and Bernice Griffin Cook; her sister Sheila Brown; and her son James Jackson. She is survived by: her husband James VanCise of Canisteo; her children, Lori Priestley of Hornell, John Jackson Jr. (Frances) of Prattsburg and Kevin VanCise (Jennifer) of Painted Post; and her siblings, Brenda Cline (Warren) of Addison, Darlene Brewer (Randie) of Hornell and Duane Cook (Donna) of North Carolina. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
