We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2021, at the age of 85, Robert L. Stanford Sr. of Canisteo, New York, born in Corning, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Gage Michael; his siblings, Donald, Richard, Ronald Stanford and Joyce Guild; and his son-in-law Randy Abbey.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo; his children, Suanne Vangorden (Peter) of Elkland, Patti Haggard (Joe) of Port Allegany, PA, Tammy Ellison (Bill) of Whitesville and Robert L. "Chip" Stanford, Jr. (Kerry) of Canisteo; and his brother James Stanford (Dora) of Jasper. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
