She was predeceased by: her father Charles Gropstis; her grandmother Marilyn; and her sisters, Sharlene Jordan and Helen Payne. She is survived by: her mother Marlea Gropstis (Bates); her husband Carl Chase; her sons, Jeffrey Chase (Kathleen) and Gregory Chase (Janine); and her grandchildren, Christine Baker (Robert), Michael, Kyle, Joseph, Allyson, Craig, Jennifer, Nicholas and Brennan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the H. P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home - Canisteo (29 E Main St, Canisteo, NY 14823). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial Contributions may be made to any Animal Shelter, the Canisteo Volunteer Fire Department or the Canisteo Police Club.
