She was predeceased by: her parents, Eloise Cornell (Dempsey) and John Cornell; her husband Dick; her siblings, John Cornell, Rosemary Hinz, Ed Cornell and Jim Cornell; her granddaughter Rachel Lewis; and her great grandchild Mary Alice McCaig.
She is survived by: her children, Marie McCaig (Michael) of Painted Post, NY, Lorraine Guarnieri (Jack) of Pepperell, MA., Edward (Susan) of Rexville, NY, Richard (Andrea) of Truxton, NY and Douglas (Beth) of Gray, Tenn.; and her siblings, Teresa Cox, Barney Cornell and Katherine Parkin.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the H. P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home - Canisteo (29 E Main St, Canisteo, NY 14823). A Mass was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church.
