With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lida M. Bixby of Canisteo, New York, born in Olean, New York, who passed away on August 9, 2023 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lida M. Bixby to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Frost and Kathryn Frost (Lewis); her husband Kenneth E. Bixby; and her siblings, Freda Hauck and Lewis "Bud" Frost.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Bixby (Priscilla), Michael Bixby (Patricia) and Sue Cole of Canisteo; her grandchildren, Lisa Wilson-Jones, Becky Sable (Tom), Chad Bixby (Jennifer), Jeff Cole (Julie), Sandy Thompson (Dan), Amy Gonzales (Matias), Brent Bixby (Sue) and Beth Smith (Andrew); and her sisters, Lois Jordan of Obi, NY and Hope Cone (Jerry) of Shinglehouse. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
