With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn Louise Dempsey of Canisteo, New York, born in Troupsburg, New York, who passed away on April 22, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Green and Mary Elizabeth Green (Graham); her husband Terrance J. Dempsey; her daughter Sharon; her granddaughter Teresa Dempsey; and her siblings, Rosanne Winnie and Donald Green.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Plumstead (Norman) of Westfield, Patricia Baker (Herbert) of Woodhull, Susette Johnson (Fredrick) of Stuarts Draft, VA, John Dempsey (Lori) of Troupsburg, Diane Plank (Thomas) of Westfield and Michelle White (Gary) of Troupsburg; and her sister-in-law Mary Ellen Celli. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
