He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Richton Gardiner; his grandparents, Randall, Esther Dailey, Charles and Frances Gardiner; his nephew Thomas C. Ames II; his mother Freda Kelly of Canisteo; his children, Jessica Gardiner, Jennifer Gardiner, Christopher Gardiner (Julia) of Baldwinsville, NY and Patrick Gardiner of Laurel; his siblings, Dennis Gardiner (Nancy) of Harpursville, NY and Sharon Ames of Arkport; his grandsons, Jeremiah and Alexander Gardiner; and his stepsiblings, Annette Marsh (Dan) of Scio, Theresa Hand of Rochester, Sharon Lamphear (Gary) of Dunkirk, Jon Kelly (Robin) of Scio and Raymond Kelly (Donna) of Texas. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and his favorite feline friend.
