It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean L. Montgomery of Canisteo, New York, who passed away on October 12, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin L. Smith and Helen D. Smith (Florence); her husband Richard L. Montgomery; and her brothers, Paul and Franklin "Jack" Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Lee Montgomery (Mary) of Hornell and Patricia Bixby (Michael) of Canisteo; her grandchildren, Steven Montgomery (Kellie), David Montgomery (Jenna), Brent Bixby (Sue Wise) and Beth Smith (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Kelly, Ryan Bixby, Jacob, Emma, Lillian, Alden Smith, Elizabeth, Abigail and Mason Montgomery; her nephews, Jack Smith, Jr. and Riley Smith; and her niece Judy Smith. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
