It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eloise M. Hilsdorf of Canisteo, New York, who passed away on May 14, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eloise M. Hilsdorf to pay them a last tribute.

Though Eloise may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eloise touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her husband Conrad C. Hilsdorf; and her siblings, Herman Mullen and Erma Lambert. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Corinne Mistretta (Ed) of Charlston, SC, Sandra Clifford (Douglas) of Waltham, MA and Conrad Hilsdorf (Eileen) of Bishopville, NY.; and her sisters, Jane Campbell of Hartsville and Kathleen Shepherd of Canisteo.

She was a trailblazer with courage who could temper any situation with a chuckle and some Irish humor. We will miss our encourager, counselor, friend, rescuer, and trailblazer.
