It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward R. Warriner of Canisteo, New York, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard B. Warriner and Lillian Warriner (VanDuren); his daughter Patricia Warriner; his great grandchild Isaac Warriner; and his siblings, David, Howard, Jack, Richard Warriner and Phyllis Bolehnke.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Warriner (Bettinger) of Canisteo; his children, Carl Warriner (Lisa) of Hornell, Dean Warriner (Shelly) of Canisteo and Barbara Graham (James) of Romulus; his grandchildren, Lois Jane Graham, John Graham, Matthew Graham, Bridgett Freelove, Alan Warriner, Kevin Ostberg Warriner, Robert Warriner DeWeese and Ryan Warriner DeWeese; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Jean Warriner, Marilyn Warriner, Arnet Warriner and Lorraine Warriner. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and several step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home - Canisteo (29 E Main St, Canisteo, NY 14823). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (37 Greenwood St, Canisteo, NY 14823).
