He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Wyant and Marilyn Wyant; and his brother-in-law Curtis Loper Sr.. He is survived by: his wife MaryLee (Michler); his children, Doug, Jr. (Chasidy) and Tracy (Christopher); his grandchildren, Katie (Jared), Meghan, Lauren (Matt), Collin, Taylor (Ryan), Blake (Nicole), Austin (Krysta), Hunter (Aylah) and Stephanie Knight; his great grandchildren, Liam, Lane, Logan, Olivia, Cora, Maisie, Bennett and Miles; his siblings, Dennis (Connie), Daniel (Sue) and Dawnne; his brother-in-law Charles Michler; his nieces and nephews, Lindsay Loper, Kelly Wyant-Krause, Curtis Loper, Jr. (Ashley) and Jason Wyant (Wendy); and his aunt Annie Stephens. He is also survived by many cousins, great nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the H. P. Smith & Sons Funeral Home (29 E Main St, Canisteo, NY 14823). A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the H. P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home - Canisteo (29 E Main St, Canisteo, NY 14823). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the H. P. Smith & Sons Funeral Home (29 E Main St, Canisteo, NY 14823).
