With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarence Van Coombs (Canisteo, New York), born in Dansville, New York, who passed away on March 22, 2018 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Shelley Coombs and Marinda Coombs (Kemp); his daughter Judy Coombs Leach; his grandson Jeremy Coombs; his brothers, Bill Coombs, Dick Coombs and Frank Coombs; his children, Indy King (Dave) of Savona, Janine Doane (Tim) of Elmira Heights, Kelly Thompson (Karl) of Canisteo, Dan Coombs (Deb) of Canisteo and Robin Coombs (Denise) of Perkinsville; and his sister Louella Brown (Richard) of Dansville. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
Clarence's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to the Ann & Carl Meyers Cancer Center, 111 Clara Barton St., Dansville, NY 14437.
