We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2021, at the age of 86, Asa Thomas Smith of Canisteo, New York, born in Woodhull, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeffrey Smith and Veronica Smith (Kolinski); and his brother Jeffrey Smith, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Margaret E. Symonds of Canisteo; his children, Michael Smith (Ursula) of Canisteo, Patrick Smith (Sue) of Woodhull and Cynthia Thompson (Gary) of Canisteo; and his sister-in-law Bernice Smith of Woodhull. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
