It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Nicosia (Candor, New York), born in Ulysses, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 23, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gerald Empson and Ada Empson (Bennett); her spouse Russell Nicosia; her children, Patsy Nicosia (David Spiess), Pamela Babcock and Patrick Nicosia (Geralyn Timler); her grandchildren, Natalie Spiess, Holly Spiess, Michelle Hester (Kevin), Bryan Babcock (Lauren), Erin Nicosia and Ryan Nicosia; her great grandchildren, Morgan, Avery, Owen Hester, Paxton and Lennon Babcock; her grandson Michael Babcock; and her brother Gerald Empson (Lena).
