As Matthew Charles departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Matthew Charles. Though Matthew Charles may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy Crowe. He is survived by: his father Merwin "Butch" Crowe; his sister Elizabeth "Liz"; his brother-in-law John Hughes; his nieces, Jillian Hughes and Leah Hughes; his nephew Jameson Hughes; and his friend Jody Kasmarcik.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home (137 Main St, Candor, NY 13743). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
