He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Scott and Elma Scott; his brothers, Leslie Scott, James Scott and Howard Scott; his siblings-in-law, Beverly Scott and Gary Nichols; and also, Freda Morris, Leo Lawrence, Theora Darrah, Arthur and Hazel Terpenning.

He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his siblings, Linda L. Nichols of Nichols and Roland Edward "Eddie" Scott of Groton; his sister-in-law Evelyn Scott of Candor; and also Louise Terpenning of Owego. He is also survived by several nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews and cousins.
