Joyce Lucille Chase Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Lucille Chase (Candor, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Nelson and Elsie Nelson; her siblings, Gloria Nelson, Janis Hill and Charles Nelson; her husband Joseph Chase; and her children, Floyd Houghton, David Houghton and Cheri Knapp.
She is survived by: her brother Ralph Nelson; and her daughters, Elaine Houghton (George Brady), Brenda Chase (Cecil Hollien) and Kelly Chase (Richard Sundquist). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joyce L. Chase's memory to the Candor American Legion Post #907, 90 Spencer Road, Candor, NY 13743.
