It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay H. Sykes Sr. of Candor, New York, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his sons, Jay Sykes, Jr. (Sylvia) and Joe Sykes (Cathy); and his siblings, Wayne C. Sykes, Janice Gardner (Leon) and Elaine Hudak (John). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Disabled American Veterans Association in loving memory of Jay.
