He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Hoyt and Mildred Hoyt (Harris); his brother Fred Hoyt; and his brother-in-law Robert Hover. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hoyt; his daughters, Suzanne (Ray Sears) and Amy (Dale Houseknecht); his grandchildren, Taralynn Robinson (Andy), Kalie Houseknecht and Jacob Houseknecht; his great grandchild Kevin Robinson; and his sisters-in-law, Teresa Hoyt, Marilyn Soule (Don), Sharon Higinson (Charlie) and Carol Hover. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
