She was predeceased by: her parents, George, Sr. Skinner and Eva Skinner; and her son Paul "Peanut" Edwards. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Edwards, Gregory Edwards, Sr. and Amy Edwards (Daryl Canfield); her daughter-in-law Anita Edwards; her grandchildren, Lindsey, Jared, Stephanie, Gregory, Jr., Brittany, Sarah, Jessica, Joshua, Michelle and Ashley; and her sister Esther Haines. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
