He is survived by: his significant other Chris Seitz; his children, John Elia (Katie), Jeffrey Elia, Angela Elia (Carl), Kari Elia (Trey), Patience Seitz, Sue Stratton and Patricia Austin; and his siblings, Jerry Elia (Lynn), Peter Elia (Lori), Mary Elia (Dennis), Pamela Elia-Romano (Richard) and Rose Elia Hayes. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
