Barnes of Canastota; his son William Barnes of Blossvale, NY; his siblings, Robert Barnes Jr. (Robin Mitchell) of Cleveland, NY, Steven Barnes (Deborah Barnes) of Palm Beach and Sally Haines (Joseph Haines) of Camden, NY; and his grandchildren, Bradley, Leila and Blake. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
